Emergency Commercial RTU Response
When a packaged RTU fails in peak season, you need diagnosis, tenant communication, and a clear repair-vs-replace call — not a mystery invoice. Precision Heating stabilizes light-to-mid commercial roofs across the South Bay and Central Valley, then plans the lasting fix without pretending every emergency is a full changeout.

How it works
- 1
Stabilize and diagnose
Confirm safe operation, identify the failed circuit or component, and document cabinet condition so ownership can decide with facts.
- 2
Choose repair or replace
We price the durable path — including curb/crane assumptions when replacement is likely — so you are not surprised on award day.
- 3
Execute and document
Complete the repair or changeout with start-up notes, Title 24 path as required, and a punch list your PM can close.
FAQs
How fast can you respond to a failed RTU?
Priority depends on season, contract status, and parts. Call us with model/serial photos and roof access details so we can triage the same day when capacity allows.
Do you bring temporary cooling?
We help plan temporary strategies (spot coolers, temporary units, zone shutdowns) when available. Lead times for rental gear vary — ask early on peak heat days.
Will you always recommend replacement?
No. If a defined repair restores a sound cabinet safely, we say so. If the chassis or platform is done, we will not sell a compressor into a failing box.
Can you handle after-hours retail or restaurant failures?
Yes for light-to-mid commercial roofs in our markets, subject to access, permits, and crane rules. After-hours premiums apply — we state them up front.
