Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Precision Heating & Cooling uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. It works together with our Privacy Policy.

Effective 2026-06-25 · drafted by CIWG for client legal review

Plain-Language Summary

Like most websites, ours uses cookies — small files saved in your browser — to make the site work, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the site, and measure the effectiveness of our advertising. You can change which categories you allow at any time using our cookie preferences tool, by changing your browser settings, or by sending a Global Privacy Control signal. We do not sell your personal information.

1. What Cookies Are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser when you visit. Similar technologies (web beacons, pixel tags, local storage, session storage) work the same way for the purposes of this policy and are covered by the same rules.

Cookies can be set by us (first-party cookies) or by third-party services we use (third-party cookies). They can last only for the current browsing session (session cookies) or for a longer period set when the cookie is created (persistent cookies).

2. Categories of Cookies We Use

Strictly necessary. Required for the site to load and function — for example, remembering your cookie-consent choice, securing forms (anti-spam, reCAPTCHA), routing form submissions through our API, and keeping the cookie banner from re-appearing every page load. These cannot be turned off in our preferences tool because the site relies on them.

Preferences (functional). Remember choices you make so the experience is consistent — for example, your selected language (English / Spanish), accessibility preferences, and recently-viewed services.

Analytics (performance). Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it — for example, which pages are most viewed, where visitors come from, and where they get stuck. We may use providers such as Google Analytics 4 for this. Analytics cookies are off by default until you accept them or browse the site after declining the optional cookie categories.

Marketing & advertising. Used by us and our advertising partners (for example, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, and call-tracking providers) to measure ad effectiveness and to show you relevant ads on other sites. Marketing cookies are also off by default until you accept them.

3. Representative Providers

The specific cookies in use change over time as we add or remove tools. Representative providers include:

• Google Analytics — analytics

• Google Ads — advertising / conversion measurement

• Meta (Facebook) Pixel — advertising / conversion measurement

• Google reCAPTCHA — strictly necessary (form anti-spam)

• Call-tracking platform (for example, WhatConverts or CallRail) — analytics + advertising

• Cookie-consent platform — strictly necessary

Each provider has its own privacy policy; we link to current ones inside our on-site cookie preferences tool when available.

4. Your Choices

On-site preferences. Open the "Cookie Settings" link at the bottom of any page (or the on-page cookie banner the first time you visit) to choose which categories you allow. Changes take effect immediately for the current browser.

Browser controls. All major browsers let you block, delete, or be alerted to cookies. Look for "Cookies" or "Privacy" in your browser's settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will break parts of the site (for example, forms and the consent banner).

Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honor opt-out preference signals sent by your browser, including the Global Privacy Control. When we detect a GPC signal from a California resident's browser, we treat it as a request to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not currently sell personal information, and we limit sharing to the categories described in our Privacy Policy, Section 4).

Mobile device controls. iOS and Android offer device-level controls for limiting ad tracking. See your device settings for details.

5. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is no industry-standard meaning for that signal yet, so we do not separately respond to it — but we do honor Global Privacy Control as described in Section 4.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Policy on this page and update the "Effective" date below. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Policy.
